Q. What sizes are the cabins?

Ans. We have various sizes. Call us to see what sizes we have available right now.

Q. Will we need a building consent?

Ans. As our cabins are on wheels, they do not come under the Building Act. Therefore, you shouldn’t need a building consent. Furthermore, the Department of Building and Housing regulations do not require a building consent if your building does not exceed one story and does not exceed 10 square metres in floor area and does not contain cooking or sanitary facilities or a portable water supply. However, if you are unsure, please contact your local council for clarification.

Q. Is a bond required?

Ans. Yes. The bond varies depending on the size cabin you choose. At the end of the hire when the cabin is returned in excellent condition your bond will be refunded.

Q. How much is the rent each week?

Ans. This depends on the size of the cabin.

Q. Do you deliver the cabins?

Ans. Yes, we tow the cabins to you. We will set your cabin up level on your site. If you want your cabin shifted (e.g. if you’re moving house) we will do this for a small fee.

Q. Can I tow or move the cabins?

Ans. We need to do that for you. If you need to move your cabin, please get in touch with us.

Q. Do the wheels stay on?

Ans. Yes. We just remove the drawbar, so it does not get in your way and to optimise your available space.

Q. Do they have curtains?

Ans. Yes. All our cabins come with curtains.

Q. Is there a minimum rental period?

Ans. Yes, minimum period is normally 6 months.

Q. What do I do when I no longer need my cabin?

Ans. As long as you’ve completed your minimum rental period you only need to give three weeks’ notice to remove your cabin.

Q. Do I get my bond back?

Ans. Provided you have returned your cabin in a clean and undamaged condition, we will refund you your bond. This includes fully cleaning the inside and outside, gutters, walls etc
